Following its successful debut in 2014, the Plastics Recycling Expo (PRE) returns to the Telford International Centre on 16th and 17th June, providing a dedicated national forum for the plastics recycling industry.
Themes at the exhibition and conference will include keeping recycling costs low, reducing material contamination and saving energy during production, with a number of technology providers on hand to demonstrate their latest products.
Event director Steve Crowhurst believes that PRE offers the ideal opportunity for plastics recycling professionals to learn, network and find solutions to the challenges currently facing the industry.
“Plastics recycling plays a crucial part in our circular economy but with the downturn in oil prices lowering the cost of virgin material, plastics recyclers are operating in very challenging market conditions,” he confirms. “Never has it been more important to ensure that the process of recycling plastics is carried out as efficiently as possible without compromising on quality.”
PRE is supported by the British Plastics Federation Recycling Group, Plastics Recyclers Europe, WRAP, Local Authority Recycling Advisory Committee (LARAC), RECOUP (Recycling of Used Plastics) and RAPRA and Smithers Rapra.
Exhibition in June includes conference for UK plastics recycling industry.
